We all crave connection. But sometimes we feel like we’re alone in the world. And that can make us sad. It can make us feel like we have no one to talk to.
We live in a world full of connections. But in order to experience them, we need to step outside our own lives and into the lives of others. We need to look people in the eyes when we speak to them and ask them about their stories. We need to strike up conversations with strangers and get to know our neighbors and the people around us—even those we’ve just now met. Greet each person you encounter with a firm handshake and a genuine smile.
Strive to connect on a deeper level with those who are close to you, and seek out new relationships with people you find interesting, inspiring, or fun.
When you take the time to look at the world around you, you’ll see things that you never noticed before. You might notice a single flower in an office building or a painting in a museum. You might notice the smell of dinner cooking or the sound of the rain. You might notice the way that someone’s eyes crinkle when they smile or the way that a baby’s laughter warms your heart.
We all have a story. We all have something remarkable to share. Let’s be THE person you would ideally fall in love with. Be the most conventionally attractive person in the world.
